Insight & Foresight The great need of the hour is for Insight and foresight The days in which we are living require real insight along with clear foresight. Godly teachers have for years taught on two pivotal events soon to happen; the great tribulation and the rapture. However, very little is taught on getting ready for these events. Preparing for the days ahead is no mean feat, it requires insight and foresight. The drama of the ages A great unseen drama is being played out; a deadly battle is being fought for world dominance. It would seem that Lucifer had some authority in this earth long before it was given to Adam. Ezekiel 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. The fall of Lucifer had a catastrophic effect on the earth Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. This was a perfect world that God created and it would seem that Lucifer had some authority over this perfect earth. But when he fell this first creation was destroyed. Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Some of the earlier manuscripts read “and the earth became without from and void” When a new earth rose out of the dark waste it was given to Adam, this was of great dismay to Lucifer, and he would try by all means to get it back.  And so the drama of the ages got underway and will not end until Revelations 11:15 is fulfilled. Revelations 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. A great and deadly battle is being played out, a battle for world dominance,  as this great conflict sweeps planet earth a great shaking is taking place that has the effect of removing all that is not of God from the church, the apostle Paul referred to this. Hebrews 12:27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: The prophet Haggai also referred to this in Haggai 2:6-7. There is a polarising of the forces of light and darkness This battle is being fought on many fronts; Religious, Political, Social, Education etc. Two minds are vying for dominance; two philosophies are heading up to the greatest showdown the world has ever seen, a conflict between light and darkness that will be so violent it will shake the very cosmos. I have heard many say well we know how it ends we have read the last chapter! That may be true but the question is; will you survive to the end. Passivity will be the demise of many This planet was given to man to care for and to bring heaven to earth. Adam held the title deed to this planet however we know that Lucifer had plans to regain it and once again rule it, this time as a fallen creature of great power. That once mighty angel of God whose name meant “the light bearer” became  the prince of darkness with a burning aspiration to retake this planet, and so the battle began. When Adam surrendered to the word of Satan all that Adam had was given over to Satan including the title deed to this planet. Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. Adam delivered the planet to Satan. This planet was lost by man and would be regained by man Jesus would become a man and legally regain the title deed to this earth. 1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. Jesus now waits for his sons to take it back, Revelations 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Who is His Christ, in this verse? they both cannot be Jesus. The word Christ in this verse is the Greek word Christos, which means anointed. The kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord and His anointed ones. We His sons have to take back this planet. Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. He is waiting now for His sons to retake the planet. We are at a point now where there is no middle ground; we are either advancing the Kingdom of God or the kingdom of Satan.  God is raising up a people who will know their God and do great exploits. We are not to hold the fort; we are to advance the Kingdom. There is coming a time very shortly when Jesus will rule for a thousand years and this planet again will become a paradise, a place of righteousness justice and peace, but now we must fight, we must press the battle to the gates of the enemy, this is not a time for rest and comfort it is a time to fight. In The Lord of The Rings trilogy they finally came to the gates of the enemy and Aragorn's speech outside the Black Gates was.... Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. Day may come when the courage of men fails … but this is not the day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the age of man comes crashing down. But this is not the day; By all that you hold dear on this good earth I bid you stand …. THIS DAY WE FIGHT Yes the day is coming soon when we will enter into an unbelievable fantastic new world but not this day; this day we fight. Revelations 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.. Whatever your interpretation of this verse this man-child comes forth at the end of this age, an event the whole of creation has been waiting for. Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. This man-child is caught up to God and His throne. These are not escaping the difficulties in the earth; they are being empowered to finish the task. When this happens a great battle in the heavenlies is won. Revelations 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: (His anointed ones)for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. We live in a world of great conflict the apostle John put it this way. I John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. A new Glorious earth awaits us.
