Photosynthesis a parallel of transformation Part 2

Photosynthesis a parallel of transformation Part 2

Photosynthesis is the process by which plants, some bacteria, and some protistans use the energy from sunlight to produce sugar, which cellular respiration converts into ATP, adenosine triphosphate the "fuel" used by all living things. This conversion of sunlight energy into usable chemical energy is associated with the actions of the green pigment chlorophyll. Most of the time, the photosynthetic process uses water, and release theoxygen that we absolutely must have to stay alive.Photosynthesis in plants and a few bacteria is responsible for feeding nearly all life on Earth. It does this by taking energy from the sun and converting it into a storable form, usually glucose, which plants use for their own life processes. Animals that consume plants also make use of this energy, as do those that consume plants, and so on to the top of the food chain. As important a job as making all of the world's food, there's another vital function that photosynthesis performs: It generates the oxygen that oxygen-breathing animals and humans need to survive. But here we repay the favor. We exhale the carbon dioxide that plants need for photosynthesis, the trapper of sunlight; it needed for life to subsist. All plants use the process to make food; without it most life would desist.
Exposure to the light of God in Jesus can take many forms
In the last mail out we looked at exposure to the manifest presence of the Lord; however there are other ways that we are exposed to light.
Revelation is a form of light
1 Samual 14:27But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.
29Then said Jonathan, My father hath troubled the land: see, I pray you, how mine eyes have been enlightened, because I tasted a little of this honey.
Honey is used in the bible to describe a condition of the Promised Land.
Exodus 3:8a.And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey;
In other words honey is a spiritual ingredient of the Promised Land. It is a picture of revelation or enlightenment by the Holy Spirit. Revelation is a power, it is a form of light that enlightens our spirit and inspiration draws it out. Revelation enlightens out spirit and inspiration draws out that revelation enlightening our mind. Revelation also carries with it faith, because faith comes by hearing revelation.  When Jonathan ate the honey his eyes were enlightened, this was not his physical eyes because he already could see with his natural eyes, it was his spiritual eyes that were opened, the Promised Land.
Ephensians 1:16Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Revelation is a form of exposure to light, the light of God
When we receive revelation we are never the same again, something changes. Revelation carries with it the faith and the power to enter in and walk in that revelation. Photosynthesis takes place something changes within us, the light within us increases.
If we walk in this newly given light or revelation, our fellowship with the Lord moved up to another level.
1 John 1:7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
This term “one another” contrary to popular belief is talking about you and the Lord.
Now note:  Ephensian 1:17  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Revelation exposes to us what God is like: Jesus is the express image of the Father, and revelation unfolds to us what Jesus is like. This unfolding of light is not just knowledge it is Revelation Knowledge a form of light. This revelation carries with it the ability for us walk in it, i.e. to walk in what Jesus is like. A change occurs within us when we by revelation understand what God is like, that aspect of Him is activated within us.
Exposure brings change within us
We are told to put on the whole amour of God, in Romans 13:12 it is described as an amour of light
Ephensian 6:13Wherefore take unto you the whole amour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
This amour has fist to be an inward thing, it is certain qualities that have been established within us.
Romans 13:12The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the amour of light.
13Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
The amour is basically the fruit of the spirit, and these fruits shine out from within us clothing us in an amour of light.  It is only as the changes have been made within us and we become through revelation the very essence of this fruit that we can put on this amour.
We cannot walk in darkness and have an amour of light protecting us
1 John 2:9He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
10He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
This process of change is achieved primarily through exposure to the light of God which activates a spiritual photosynthesis within us and we are being changed into the likeness of Jesus.
Protecting our selves from darkness
There a certain things which we have to do in order to keep the light of Christ active within us.
Matthew 6:22The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
The light which we expose ourselves to can be degraded by exposing ourselves to darkness. This happens when we allow darkness to penetrate us through the various gates of the soul. The eye gate is the prime gateway to our souls and what we deliberately allow to enter the eye gate will either bring life and blessing or darkness and degradation. Do no evil, see no evil, hear no evil.  When are eye gate, the natural eye and the eye of our imagination is single or consecrated to that which is;  whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Phil 4:8. Then the darkness is kept out.
Exposure is the key to change
We must position ourselves to partake of the presence of God, the revelation of the Holy Spirit and shut out the darkness which seeks to penetrate ones Soul.
The Lord will arise within us bringing healing to our whole being. The more we are exposed to His light, the more we become light.  In the natural a plant has to only be exposed to sunlight for this transformation to begin. Paul the Apostle was very clear in as much as he understood that this process could not happen under the law, it was achieved though the grace of the New Covenant, it is not by trying but by being, being in His presence.
Blessings
