Preparing for the harvest Part 2

Preparing for the harvest Part 2

Psalms 22:30A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
This generation shall see the fullness of Gods purpose manifest in a way that the world and church has never seen before. This generation is spoken of many times in God’s word as a special generation. David the Psalmist penned these words about this generation.
Psalms 102:18This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
This Psalm speaks about Gods mercy and kindness to a generation that did not exist in king Davids day
Psalms 102:16When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
17He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
18This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
19For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
20To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
21To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
The timing for these scriptures to be fulfilled is clear
At the time when the Lords builds up Zion; This did not happen in the early church, we see in Hebrews chapter 12 that the Apostle Paul was admonishing the church to move on to Zion a place of an open heaven. Hebrews 12:18-29.
In Psalm 24 King David said this, “who shall ascend the Hill of the Lord” (Zion)
He then goes on to state some qualifications
Psalms 24:3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
David was saying that there will be a generation that will ascend the mount Zion, a generation that has clean hands and a pure heart. A generation that will seek the Lord like no other generation, this generation shall receive a very special blessing from the Lord.
The prophet Joel prophesied about this generation
Joel 2:28And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
30And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
32And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
Again we see this occurs when the church has come to Zion. A time when God will pour out His spirit in an unprecedented way, a time when the sun will be turned into darkness and the moon the blood. In these end times God will visit a generation and a way that eclipses all other visitations.
Mathew Chapter one verse one begins  with this preface.
Matthew 1:1The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
The writer concludes this passage of scripture with this verse.
Matthew 1:17So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. 42 generations.
However if you count very carefully the generations listed in Mat 1 there are only 41 generations, so where is the 42 generation?.
Psalms 22:30A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation
Jesus died without having any natural children of His own, however King David with supernatural foresight and revelation, wrote about a generation to come that would be counted to  the Lord Jesus as a generation, a generation that would be like Him a generation in His likeness.

A Wayward Generation

When we look at this generation of young people we often see them as a drug ridden immoral rebellious generation, of course not all are like that, but a great proportion is.
In the 70s we saw a very real harvest of young people who were caught up in the prevailing youth culture of the day which imbibed the hip philosophy of make love not war. Their disdain for the prevailing establishment of the day, thou in many ways well founded; led them into drugs sex and rebellion.  God poured out His spirit and thousands of these wayward young people came to the Lord and are still serving Him today. Today we face a generation that has tasted of everything their culture and the world can offer them, however this generation is ripe for another great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God views this generation of young people as His special secret weapon, these shall ascend the hill of the Lord these are Jesus 42 generation. Countless millions of young people are on the brink of the greatest revival the church has ever seen. The Lords ability to save and transform the youth of today must not be underestimated.

God’s Secret Weapon

The wave of Gods spirit that swept across the earth known as the Jesus revolution or the charismatic move was just a token of what is upon us now. Gods ability to save and purify the harvest is about to be demonstrated to the church in a remarkable way. Satan’s accusation has always been that; Jesus can save people but he can’t deliver them from sin! That is about to change in a dramatic way. God has a generation of young people who are his secret weapon, a generation that will come to the fullness of the stature of Christ very quickly and become the Lords secret weapon reaping the FINAL harvest.
The Prophet Malachi prophesied about this generation
Malachi 1:11For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
God was saying that there will come a time when in every nation tribe and tongue there will be people worshiping God  with PURE HEARTS and God’s name will be great in every nation of the world.
Malachi 3:2But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
3And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
Psalms 102:12But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.
13Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
The son of righteousness is about to rise with healing in His wings to heal restore and purify this generation of young people.
This generation will go forth across the earth as a new missionary force leading countless millions to the lord. Your sons and your daughters are about to be the recipients of a massive move by God who will to rescue a whole generation which in turn will become ambassadors of the Goodness, power, and the mercy of God to a dying world.
Blessings
