Part 3 Seven sensation of the spirit man

Part 3 Seven sensation of the spirit man
Galatians 5:25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
God is emphasising today the great need of learning to walk in the spirit. If we are to learn to walk in the spirit we must learn to recognise the movement of the Holy Spirit in our spirit. Sensing the movement of the spirit within us is vital to our walk with the Lord
Three Kinds of Life
The bible refers to 3 kinds of life, it is important that we understand these three differing aspects of life. Three different Greek words are used for the English word Life.
  • 1 BIO LIFE ... Physical Sensual Fleshly
Luke 8:14And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
Pleasures of this life; Bio.
  • 2 PSUCHE ... Soul life
Luke 9:23And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself,(Psuche)  and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
The word “himself” is the Greek word Psuche Soul life
  • 3 ZOE ... Gods life in your spirit
Romans 8:2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
John 10:10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
John 1:4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Zoe is light.  NOW NOTE ... Proverbs 20:27 The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts.
This light is the power source of your spirit. We must not allow BIO life to control us and lead us.
Nor can we allow Psuche life to do the same
We have to learn to walk in Gods life within us
The Apostle Paul said;
Romans 1 :9I serve God with my spirit
We too must learn to serve God with our spirit
SEVEN SENSATIONS OF THE SPIRIT MAN
  • 1) TO SIGH
Mark 7:34And looking up to heaven, he SIGHED and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
Jesus sighed; the Greek word for sigh here is Stenazo ... which Means sigh groan with a prayer burden. This is a sensation that appears in your spirit generated by the Holy Spirit and essentially is a signal or a burden to pray
A Burden to Pray
NOTE MARK 8:11-12 ...
Mark 8:12And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.
To sigh deeply is a particular spirit sensation that needs to be learned and recognised
When it is easy to pray you have a Stenazo: Did yo ever wake at night with this sensation or during the day. This sensation is God Knocking on your door to try to get you to turn aside and pray. The Stenazo is not the prayer it is the urge to pray.
Romans 8:23And not only the, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body.
THE WORD GROAN IS STENAZO
II Corinthians 5:4For we that are in [this] tabernacle do groan, being burdened: Stenazonot for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
Ezekiel 21:6Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of [thy] loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.
We must learn to sense this spirit sensation and respond to it, learning to respond the movements of the Holy Spirit within us is important id we are to walk in the Spirit.
  • 2) TO GROAN
John 11:33When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,
John 11:38Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
The Greek word for groan here is ... Embrimaomai and means; an infusion ofindignation, or a sense of authority coupled with indignation. It is a sensation expressed in an inward groaning with a sense of indignation. A mix of Anger and authority, I am sure many of you have experienced this but did you recognise it as a spiritual sensation?
This sensation can trigger the Gift of faith and can trigger great miracles In this case Jesus raised the dead.
  • 3) TO BE TROUBLED IN SPIRIT
John 13:21When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
Troubled in Spirit: The Greek word for troubled here is Tarraso,  And means to Stir to Agitate  It is a sense that something is wrong.

This sensation can be so strong that it impacts on you physically and you feel sick in the pit of your stomach, it is an inbuilt early warning system.

It operates ahead of time giving you time to pray. This is a very important sensation to learn as it can save you a lot of trouble.
Many difficulties in your life can be avoided if you respond to the Tarraso in your spirit. Remember it is too late to close the stable door after the horse has bolted.
Luke 22:31And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Here Jesus moved in a Tarraso in Hs spirit and avoided a calamity in Peters life
  • 4) PROVOKED IN SPIRIT
Acts 17:16Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.
The word stirred here is the Greek word Paroxuno and means To do something to be stirred provoked.A spirit sensation.
It is a sensation in your spirit which resembles a stirring being provoked bordering on zeal.
We need to minister with  Paroxuno .. Be stirred
  • 5) TO BE PRESSED IN YOUR SPIRIT
Acts 18:5And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.
The word pressed here is the Greek word Sunecho ... it has nothing to do with the lack of time;  it means to hold or press together to become one with.
Pressed in spirit is a spiritual sensation of becoming consciously one with the Holy Spirit. It carries the thought of being pressed into the Holy Spirit
This is a very powerful manifestation of the Holy Spirit in your spirit.
II Corinthians 5:14For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
The word constraineth here is the Greek word  Sunecho. The love of God sunechoed him or pressed him into union with the Holy Spirit   When that happens love overcomes all fear and every sense or thought of failure. It makes one invincible.
For instance Paul said, I go bound in spirit; in Acts 20:22 the word bound is the Greek word Sunecko
Acts 20:22And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
23Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
When Paul said that I go bound in Spirit he was saying I go sunechoed in spirit. He had no fear, he was lifted in spirit to another realm and taken over by the Holy Spirit, and nothing moved him he was bound as one with the Holy Spirit.
Martyrs testify of this sensation of the spirit this condition which made them invincible This produced a supernatural boldness.
  • 6) JOY .. Greek Kharah.  Calm delight
This is a sprit sensation that goes deeper than the emotions
Romans 14:17For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Joy in the Holy Spirit is a spirit sensation
It is not dependant upon circumstances or emotions it goes much deeper than happiness. Happiness is a sensation of ones Soul Joy is a sensation of one spirit.
Colossians 1:11Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Under adverse circumstances this bring great strength.
Nehemiah 8:10Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for [this] day [is] holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
  • 7) THE WITNESS OF THE SPIRIT
Romans 8:16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
The Greek word for witness here is the word Summartureo ... and means to corroborate to bear witness.
This operates as an affirmation or a check
A green light or a red light, it is a feeling a sensation in ones spirit of right or wrong. It is of utmost importance that you learn this sensation this feeling, it will keep you from much heart ache.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO DEVELOP A WALK WITH THE LORD
YOU MUST LEARN THE VARIOUS SENSATIONS FEELINGS OF
YOUR SPIRIT MAN CONNECTED TO THE HOLY SPIRIT. AND
YOU MUST LEARN TO RESPOND IN AN ADEQUATE WAY.
