Preparing for Harvest Part 10 New Revelation for a New Generation

Preparing for Harvest Part 10

New Revelation for a New Generation

Hebrews 6:1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3And this will we do, if God permit.
The Apostle Paul here tells us that we as a Christians must go on to better and higher thing in Gods kingdom, but first we must be grounded in the doctrine of Christ.
We need to know what the doctrines of Jesus Christ are, and have them established in our lives. There are varying depths of experiences in the Lord. A person’s experience of Salvation can be very superficial the same with the baptism in the H/S or water baptism, yet with others these experience can be profound. Often through the passing of time the greater depths of spiritual experience and reality can be lost. There are levels of understanding in many of the spiritual experienced we enter into, there are greater depths, greater heights and realty that God is seeking to unveil to this generation.
We do not disregard the basic foundations; however this generation needs a greater revelation of these foundations, a great depth and reality.
The Apostle Paul is saying that before we can go on into greater realms of the Kingdom of God we must be established and grounded in the doctrines of Christ. These foundations have to be laid in our lives.
We need to revisit the first principle believing God for deeper revelation and understanding of them which will in turn will position us to enter for further into the fantastic realities of the KINGDOM OF GOD.
The doctrines of ChristRepentance from dead works.
Faith towards God.
Water baptism and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Laying on of Hands.
The resurrection of the dead.
Eternal Judgement.
We need to understand that these are not just truths that we believe in.
They need to be truths that we live and experience daily in our walk with God.  There are greater depths that God wants to reveal regarding the Baptism in Water that will totally transform our lives if we experience this daily and walk in it. The same goes for the doctrine of the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgement. These are not just truths we believe in, they need to be a daily experience. Faith towards God, there is understanding and revelation on all of these truths that the church as yet has not fully understood, truth and revelation that this generation needs to understand and experience. Further revelation on all of these foundation truths are about to be unfolded to the church and will impact greatly on our walk with the Lord.

Revelation is Progressive

Isaiah 28:10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
Ever since the reformation God has been revealing more truth and understanding, and this is even more so in our day regarding the Doctrine of Christ. As the church approaches the Feast of Tabernacles as an experience, there will be an explosion of truth through revelation that will propel the those who receive it into realms undreamed of in God. Yes we need to re-dig some of the old wells and also move on to greater understanding and revelation.
The Apostle Paul said let us go on to perfection Hebrews 6:1 These foundation were designed to position us to move on to much greater things in God. This word perfection in Hebrews 6:1 is an interesting word. The Greek word is teleiotes, and means a completer or finisher, to reach a full end. This word perfection infers that one reaches a full end completing the reason for which they came into this world for, and the way to this is found in Colossians 3:14.
Colossians 3:14And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.
Being conformed into the image of Jesus who is love completes our journey in this world. To have fellowship with Jesus and invisible spirit of light, WE MUST WALK IN LIGHT.  Let us not just settle for an understanding of truth, we need a continuing experience of truth. As I write this I am acutely aware of the recent mission to the Planet Mars. The landing of the probe on Mars is an incredible feat of perseverance and brilliant technology, man continues to go where we have never been before. This accomplishment of man prophetically pictures the desire of God to take His people into greater realms of reality in the spirit, to go where they church has not gone before. There has never been a day like our day before, this generation is being offered the opportunity to enter into a walk with the Lord that will be unprecedented in the church except for a few through history who have pioneered the way, men such as Enoch, Elijah.
Let us go on having entered into greater revelation and truth in the doctrine of Christ
Blessings
