Going to the next level Part 2

Philippians 3:13	Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14	I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Change and new beginnings is always difficult, and requires faith on our behalf. Nothing in this life lasts forever. Overstaying our time in any function position or purpose always leads to baroness and sometimes disaster. A few years ago the Lord gave me a dream in which I saw a very large fish in a very small pond, the fish was gasping for air because there was not enough water and oxygen in the pond to sustain it, the fish needed a larger pond.

Discerning when you have reached the place of being a large fish in a small pond is important.

It is a well established fact that the growth of a fish is determined by the size of its pond. If you put a fish into a small fish tank its growth is determined by the size id the tank, if you take the fish out of the tank and put it into a pond it will grow much larger. This is particularly relevant to our spiritual walk and calling in God. You may be a pastor in a church of several hundred people when your time comes, and moving to the next level may mean resigning the church, this can be very difficult. You say but I have a fruitful ministry I have a real influence for God, the question arises how we measure influence and fruitfulness. The Apostle Paul wrote his best epistles while in prison. You may be an intercessor, or a teacher or a housewife, moving to a new level in God does not necessarily mean that resign what you are doing, it may mean that changes need to be made to free you up more to give you time to seek the Lord more, change comes in many ways. 

New levels release more grace and provision

God called you with a holy calling before you ever came to this planet, and there are stages in fulfilling that great plan and purpose that you were given before the world began.

2 Timothy 1:9

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

When we move on in God to another level, grace is released to fulfill it, gifts are given as tools to perform the work God has given us to do, and finance is released to fund that new level and purpose. Greater levels of revelation are released in order for you to walk in the new. New angels are assigned to assist you, your guardian angels remain with you for life, but other angels are assigned to you for every new level of your calling. None of these provisions can be yours if you stay where you are spiritually

Sickness can be a friend

Because we are so hard of hearing mainly because we want to hear only what we want to hear, God has to use other means to get our attention.

Job 33:14	For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
15	In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
16	Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
17	That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
18	He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
19	He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
20	So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.

Often God allows sickness to come upon us so that we can have time out to reflect, ponder and asses our priorities. So often God can only get our attention when we fall sick.  This may not be God’s highest way but often the only He can get us to listen to Him.

It was time for great change in Job’s life but the transition into that change was difficult, nevertheless the end result was very blessed in deed. This is a time in God for many to move on to a new level, a season has opened for many to be repositioned as the next wave or purposes of God in the earth unfold.

Esther 4:14

For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

As I watched those people crossing the rickety bridge between mountains (see last weeks study) I new that it was not easy and required much faith, I also new that things were now speeding up because they did not start at the bottom of the next mountain but they started halfway up, everything was being accelerated. What took years to accomplish in the past can now be accomplish in much less time, one of the reasons for this acceleration is because new and greater revelation is being released to the church like never before, and grace is being released to walk in it.

Intimacy with God is the clarion call of the hour

To be able to walk in the purposes of God from now on requires greater intimacy with Him.  A new level of intimacy is now required and this involves spending MUCH MORE time in His presence, it requires a rearranging of our lives, schedules and priorities in order to draw near to Him. It is going to require brutal re-arranging of our present life style, most of the things which now take our time need to be removed in order to give the PRIORIITY to seeking the Lord, this has to become our life, our substance our everything, and from there our fruitfulness will increase exponentially.

Revelation of God’s purposes for the church in the Millennium and in the eons to come, revelation about the universe and God’s purpose for it are about to be released, new levels of revelation on how to walk with God are coming and will be released to those whose priority is intimacy with God.

1 Corinthians 2:9	But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10	But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Going to another level is not an option if you are to be a part of God’s purpose in these end-times; it is mandatory
