The Ark is Returning Part 6 The Glory of God

The Ark is Returning Part  6
The Glory of God
When David finally brought back the Ark and put it in an open tent on Mt Zion a new era in Israel began which was to serve as a prophetic window into what God has purposed for the end-time Church.

During this period in Israel there was an open manifestation of the Glory of God.
Psalms 50:2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
The Glory of God could be seen from afar off as God shined forth from Mt Zion
Psalms 80:1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.
The Glory of God:  Glory Hebrew: Kabod. Weight substance Goodness

Greek: Doxa. The Nature and essence of God
When Moses asked God to show him His glory, God caused all of His goodness to pass before Moses.
Exodus 33:18 And he said, I beseech thee, show me thy glory.
19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.
We see the Glory is synonymous with the Goodness of God, the very Nature and substance of God.
God in these last days is going to release His glory (goodness) like never before. His goodness will shine forth across the earth bringing hope and life to a corrupt and degenerate world. This manifestation of the Glory of God is what Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24:14
Mathewt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Luke 10:9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Luke 11:20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
God will give the entire world a taste of heaven before the end comes.
We have seen that the Ark or the presence and Glory of God were brought back with Praise and Worship. We have to enter new levels of praise and worship in order to transcend the hill of the Lord to Mt Zion.
Praise primarily is a function of the Soul
A focus of the mind emotions and will in praise and thanksgiving.
Psalms 34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
Psalms 35:9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
Psalms 103:1 A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Worship is primarily a function of our spirit
John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
True worship operates on a level that is higher than praise. Praise is necessary in the process of entering the presence of the lord. We enter His courts with praise. Psa100:4.  Once we are in the presence of the Lord and the Glory begins to be manifest we worship the Lord as an act of total surrender to Him.
1 Kings 8:10 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud (of glory) filled the house of the LORD,
11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.
They could no longer stand as they fell and worshiped the Lord. It is at this point that transformation begins as the Goodness of the Lord overwhelms us. It is here that God can cause us to enter the Kingdom of heaven in seeing visions and being taken into realms of the Kingdom of heaven.
It is in this level that profound changes take place within us as the fire of God and the power of God ministers to us, nothing less will satisfy this generation as religion is swept away and the reality of the kingdom of God is manifest, this generation will know reality in the spiritual realm of God, moving on from knowledge to experience and reality.
God wants us to worship Him in truth. John 4:24 The Greek word here for truth is Aletheia    Bullingers English to Greek lexicon, states that this word truth literally means Revealed Reality
This level of worship opens up to us the reality of the Kingdom of heaven, a reality which this generation needs to experience.
The book of Malachi addresses the worship of Israel which at that time had fallen into a state of mechanical meaningless ritual.
Malachi 3:7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
They were bringing sick animals as an offering to God
Malachi 1:8 And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.
Their worship was fake, there was no sacrifice in it, they did not give God the best of their lives they gave Him the sick and lame animals. But God said there would be a generation that would bring an offering or worship Him in truth, Malachi saw down through the ages to a time when the Gentile church would worship God in spirit and truth
Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
God said He would refine the Church with fire and then their worship will be pure and acceptable to God
Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
h come to this level of worship then Malachi 4:2 will be realized
Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
God Bless you
