Wisdom Part Three THE SECOND PILLAR OF WISDOM PEACABLE

Wisdom Part Three
THE SECOND PILLAR OF WISDOM PEACABLE
Proverbs 9:1Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
James 3:17But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
The second Pillar of Wisdom is Peaceable.
What does that mean?
The first pillar we saw is purity, this is the basic characteristic. From this inner quality flow the rest of the requirements.
1st Pure: Not sinless purity but pure motives.
Any negative attitude will distort the flow of Gods spirit through us causing the reception to be colored by our own negative attitudes. When the Holy Spirit imparts wisdom to us a wrong attitude will distort it.
Bitterness causes a severe distortion of revelation. Negative experiences either strengthen you or weaken you. The can either make you bitter or better.
Bitterness produces pollution in ones life
Physical Consequences:
It is well known that bitterness causes a chemical Imbalance, resulting in the Pituitary Gland,  Adrenal Gland, and Thyroid  to pump out hormones and chemicals into ones system that are destructive to all major organs and systems in your Body. God’s Word clearly indicated the affect that negative emotions have on our physical body.
Psalms 32:3When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
Proverbs 15:30The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: [and] a good report maketh the bones fat.
Proverbs 17:22A merry heart doeth good [like] a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
However the spiritual affect is even greater, because these negative emotions and attitudes distort the pure flow of revelation and warps the flow of God’s wisdom as it passes through an impure soul. In order to receive God’s wisdom we must be in certain inner soul condition.
2ND PILLAR PEACABLE
This word peaceable does not occur anywhere else in the Bible. The Greek word is 1516. eirenikos, and has the meaning of a state rather than an attitude.
It means to be completely at rest in heart and mind, living a life with complete trust in the Lord. It is something we are, rather than something we have.
Matthew 11:28Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Rest to your souls: Mind, Emotions, and will
Jesus said: In order to have rest you must do some things.
1) Come unto me. Jesus is the answer the source of peace and rest.
2) Take His yoke upon you. Not anyone else’s, not even your own yoke.
A yoke was used for coupling two oxen together, it was always the practice to couple a young inexperienced ox with an older stronger and more experienced one. The young ox would learn from the Older.
Jesus is using this as an example:
When you are coupled to Jesus, His yoke is easy and He will carry you.
What is His yoke?
It is his requirements for you, what does He the Lord require of you?
Frustration, Tension, Stress occur for a number of reasons.
1) STRIVING: For something that is not yours in God, something that He does not require of you. This can be many things it can be your purpose in life, or what you think your calling is. One time when I was preaching I swallowed a fly, and because I was ministering in a flow under the anointing of the Holy Spirit I said “ or well his mother always wanted him to be in the ministry”  I was ministering on finding your calling in God, and the Holy Spirit was seeking to make a point.  Some people are in the position of a Pastor or other ministry because it is what other people want for them or what the wanted for themselves, but their calling was not to be that.
When you are doing something that is not what the Lord wants for you, you will have to strive to fulfill it, and striving leads to jealousy envy and often a controlling spirit.  Don’t take on someone else’s yoke; what does the lord require of you?
Keep it simple
What does the Lord require of you?
Micah 6:8  He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
When you finally get to heaven you won’t be asked, what did you accomplish? You will be asked; “WHO ARE YOU?”
Matthew 7:22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
When you finally make it to heaven, what God will look is how much of His Son Jesus can he find in you, how much have you learned to love. The prime purpose in coming to this earth is to be conformed to the image of Jesus and the conditions here on planet earth are hard enough difficult enough for this work to be wrought in you.
There are many things you can’t change in life, there are circumstances beyond your control, there are mistakes you have made which often you have to live with. Take responsibility for your life, no one owes you anything, stop blaming other people for your circumstances. There are many things you can’t change; you have to live with them.
Read Psalm 37
There are many things in life you cannot control.  So commit your way to the Lord.
V5 Commit your way to the Lord
Trust the Lord with your life
V7 Rest in the Lord
Take responsibility for you circumstances
v8 Don’t get Angry. Don’t fret
Its your attitude the counts
v11 Meek will inherit the Earth
Jesus said: come unto me Learn of me
I am Meek Lowly, and you will find rest unto your souls
James 3:13Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
The meekness of wisdom
This is one of the pillars, the underlying support of wisdom. Stop fighting be at rest be peaceable, let go and walk humbly with the Lord
If you are to have real wisdom, a hearing ear, you must be at rest at peace and manifest peace to all.
To have a Hearing Ear, You must be at peace.
Wise conduct produces peace and Harmonious relationships.
Let’s look at the book of wisdom
By the way, Jesus quoted more from the book of proverbs than any other book. Either direct or by paraphrasing. This is very significant.
Proverbs 3:13Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
Proverbs 3:15She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
16Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
17Her ways (the ways of wisdom) are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
Wisdom does not rub people up the wrong way. It produces pleasantness and peace.
Proverbs 15:1A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
2The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.
People make more enemies with truth than anything else.
If you constantly turn people against you, you are not walking in wisdom.
If you constantly get bad reaction, you are not walking in wisdom.
The mass of people accepted Jesus willingly.
Colossians 4:5Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
Ecclesiastes 10:12The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.
Luke 4:22And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?
Proverbs 16:20He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.
The second pillar of wisdom, the supporting under girding foundation of wisdom is a peaceable way of life.
