Part 13 If you believe you can see

Part 13 If you believe you can see
Read the words in the box below at your normal reading speed and count how many times the letter F occurs. Do not stop as you read to count, just read at your normal speed
FINISHED FILES ARE THE

BINED WITH THE EXPERI-
ENCE  OF  MANY  YEARS
Most people will only see three or four. The reason you can’t see all six is because when you read the word OF you pronounce it in the mind as OV as long as you have the OV in your mind it is impossible to see the F.
The mind cannot hold two conflicting thoughts at the same time; the mind cannot think two different thoughts at the same time.
Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
We have looked at the power of the mind in other studies but let us have a fresh look again at this subject.
When the heart and mind are unified a bridge is opened for us to cross over into the kingdom realm
The mind is the bridge between the two worlds
When your mind is harmony with God’s will and purpose for your life your imagination becomes a tool, a power, a bridge, with which you can cross over into the unseen world of spirit. The realm of God, the spirit realm of the Kingdom of God is “IN SPIRIT” it cannot be entered into in the flesh the physical realm.
1 Corinthians 15:50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
The kingdom of God is not of this material realm it is a spiritual kingdom. We cannot cross over into that realm in our physical bodies. However we need to realize that we as a humans are not just physical, we also have a spiritual body. It is with our spiritual being that we connect with the Kingdom of God realm.
Proverbs 20:27The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
1 Corinthians 2:11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Zechariah 12:1The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
1 Corinthians 2:14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
If we are going to walk with God in the spirit it can only be done with our spirit man. God is a spirit and they that worship him must do it in spirit.
John 4:24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
What does this mean?
Well, it has to be done with your heart and not your head. The spirit realm is the realm of visions, dreams and inspirational flow of words; it is spontaneous and not initiated by the physical man. When your worship reaches the point of inspirational spontaneous flow you are worshiping in spirit, this can be joined with vision.
God says He wants us to worship Him that way AND also in TRUTH
The word truth in this verse is the Greek word 225. aletheia, al-ay'-thi-a; from G227; Strong’s Greek number system.
The meaning of this word is very interesting. I quote from Bullinger,s English to Greek Lexicon ….

“Truth as meaning revealed reality lying at the basis of, and agreeing with an appearance manifested, the very essence of a matter, hence the reality appertaining to an appearance or manifestation of the truth”
In other words;  When you worship from your spirit or heart it opens up the reality of what you are worshiping, you enter the Kingdom realm, the unseen realm of spirit, the world of spiritual vision, sound, smell; all the reality and essence, the truth manifested in the realm of the Spirit in seeing hearing and understanding.
When your mind and spirit or heart agrees in truth a door opens into the realm of God.
Revelation 1:10I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Revelation 4:1After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.
2And immediately I was in the spirit; and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
John’s body remained on earth while his spirit went o heaven
The Apostle John had a remarkable encounter with the Lord which started when he was “In the Spirit”
Genesis 46:2And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.
Job 4:12Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
13In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men,
These men saw things which were described as visions or dreams but in reality the spirit of these men was actually there, John actually went to heaven.  In the bible these were not visions as we understand the English word for visions, their spirit was actually there. These experiences are often described as vision or dreams but in reality they were not some esoteric experience but the spirit of these people were there in reality.
This was In Truth GK aletheia, hence the reality appertaining to an appearance or manifestation of the truth”
Now coming back to the question, how many F s in the quote?
The church has been taught for so long that these kinds of experiences of being in spirit, seeing into heaven, seeing Jesus is only for a select few on very special occasions.
Most of us believed this, it is the way have been taught about these things, hence it is the way we see it. This puts a veil a block in our minds that hinders us entering the Kingdom realm of spirit.
Jesus said “if you believe you will see the glory of God”
Can an ordinary Christian enter into this kind of relationship with the Lord? Can you worship in spirit and reality? The unequivocal answer to this is YES if you believe you can.
If you believe you can see.
God Bless youN Johnson ©   Feb 2007
