Joseph Ministries Part 3
Natural food and Spiritual Food
Deuteronomy 15:1 | At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release. |
2 | And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD'S release. |
7 | If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: |
8 | But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth. |
We saw in the last issue that God commanded a release every seven years; this was in order to avoid perpetual slavery and poverty.
One of the criticisms of the church has been that we offer only spiritual food to naturally starving people
I have been in some of the poorest Nations of the world, and you cannot in these nations say to a person, Jesus loves you and wants to save you! Unless you become Jesus to them, i.e. His hand extended to them. Unless you fill their belly they cannot comprehend a loving God.
One of the greatest miracles of Jesus involved feeding those who were physically hungry:
This is of great significance and emphasizes the heart of the Lord for the poor, needy, destitute, and hungry.
Matthew 25:35 | For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: |
36 | Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. |
37 | Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? |
38 | When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? |
39 | Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? |
40 | And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. |
The Bible talks about two kinds of hunger in the last days One Spiritual and the other Natural.
Amos 8:11 | Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: |
Revelation 6:6 | And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. |
8 | And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. |
Famine today is so common that it does not rate as priority news anymore.
Over two thirds of the word population went to bed hungry last night.
The refugee problem in the not to distant future, will escalate out of all proportion.
Having enough spiritual food ready for the coming spiritual harvest is part of the Joseph commission, along with preparing for times of famine that will escalate even in Western Nations.
The Nation of Israel
Anti-Semitism will begin to increase until it reaches proportions that will make the holocaust perpetrated by the Nazis look like Childs Play.
The Josephs need to start to prepare for this, vast tracts of land need to be acquired in order to be able to assist with Jewish refuges in these End-Times. Remember Jesus said; “as much as you do it unto these my brethren (The Jewish people) you do it unto me” Mat 25:39
The coming refugee problem will create an unparalleled opportunity for the Gospel to be preached to every nation in the world. I believe Australia, Canada, and New Zealand will be at the forefront of this great opportunity in preparing for and receiving refugees.
Josephs where are you? Its time to arise and start to fulfill your mandate.
Joseph was a dreamer he saw what was coming and prepared for it, he was different from the others; he saw the two harvests on the horizon, one spiritual the other natural. He saw the coming dearth and famine and he prepared for it saving much people alive. Josephs have a special favor of their Father upon them Gen 37:3. He had a special; anointing for the task, his coat of many colors, representing the seven spirits of the lord. The day has come for you to begin to shine.
Isaiah 60:1 | Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. |
2 | For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. |
3 | And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. |
4 | Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselvestogether, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. |
There is coming an unprecedented release of finance to true Joseph ministries. Transference will take place both in land and finance to those prepared and called to this task.
God said this of the Josephs:
Psalms 105:20 | The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. |
21 | He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance: |
God said that there would come a great shaking in the earth that would trigger profound changes, one of which would be the transfer of wealth.
Hebrews 12:26 | Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. |
Herewsb 12:27 | And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. |
Hebrews 12:28 | Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: |
This shaking will start to remove things which are not founded and rooted in God and His kingdom, and will signal that the final harvest is about to be reaped.
Haggai 2:6 | For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; |
7 | And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. |
8 | The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. |
The word desire in verse 7, is a Hebrew word that means; Precious Things
The precious thing the wealth of these Nations shall fund the Kingdom of God and the purposes of God in these end-times.
The prophet Habakkuk saw something way beyond his day that so startled him he said this.
Habakkuk 1:5 | Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you. |
He said if I told you what I have seen you would not believe it. He went to a place to wait on God for more understanding
Habakkuk 2:1 | I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. |
2 | And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. |
God made it clear to him that what he had seen was for a far off time period
Habakkuk 2:3 | For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. |
The phrase “at the end” in the Hebrew reads “at the extremity ”or “at the end of the age”
What did Habakkuk see? He saw the rise of a great power that would devastate the Nation of Israel, he saw the frightening power of Babylon as a judgment tool in God’s hand, he saw the rise to power of a powerful force in the earth called Babylon. He also saw the triumph through faith of the righteous
Habakkuk 1:6 | For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwelling places that are not theirs. |
7 | They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves. |
While this was a localized prophesy which was fulfilled in 2 Chron 36:6. Habakkuk saw this as more than Just a localized event , he saw down though the ages to the rise of this power at the end of the age. Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
The main events and import of this prophecy are at the end of the age when the just shall live by faith, at a time when the Glory of the Lord shall be seen in all the earth. But we have to wait for this Chap 2:3
Habakkuk 2:14 | For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. |
Habakkuk saw the rise of the spirit of Babylon in these end time he also saw the Glory of the Lord filling the whole earth.
We have seen the rise of that ancient evil spirit The Prince of Persia see Dan 10:13.
Saddam Hussein sought to resurrect that spirit dedicating a monument to it in Iraq, where the ancient city of Babylon formally stood. Regardless of the politics involved, the battle over Iraq, is a spiritual battle. The terrorism that is sweeping the word today is of the same spirit and is what Habakkuk saw two and a half thousand years ago. Nine Eleven was this spirit being used by the hand of the lord as Judgment. It was a wake up call to America and the Nations of the world.
Habakkuk 1:6 | For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs. |
7 | They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves. Hebew “from them shall proceed judgment” |
The good news is; this is a time when the Glory of the Lord shall arise upon the earth
4 | Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. |
Judgment first begins in so called Christian or righteous Nations; this comes as a wake up call. Repent for the Kingdom of God is at Hand
In a time of great darkness the Lord shall arise upon His people and they shall come from all Nations to the lord Isa 60:4.
Isaiah 30:25 | And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. |
Although the fall of the twin towers was a great tragedy, this wake up call precedes a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit where rivers of the spirit of God will flow.
The Josephs have an eye on the times and the seasons and prepare for the days that lie ahead.
Habakkuk saw this day, a day when the glory of the Lord would cover the whole earth. He said look to the Nations in this hour.
Habakkuk 1:5 | "Look at the nations and watch-- and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told. NIV |
1 Chronicles 12:32 | And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; |
God Bless you
