Part 18 We would see Jesus Part 3 Seeing Jesus in the Midst of trouble

Part 18 We would see Jesus Part 3
Seeing Jesus in the Midst of trouble
Romans 8:28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
 Is this really true?   Do you really believe this?
When some tragedy strikes or things go horribly wrong do you really believe this?
Is it possible to live in such a way that the things happening all around us work towards our good? What about the Devil and the things he does in Christians lives, can we say that all these things work together for good, if you say that this scripture does not mean ALL things, what part of all don’t you understand?
The apostle Paul wrote this under the unction of the Holy Spirit, in other words the Father had the Holy Spirit write this verse of scripture through the Apostle Paul.
Paul also to wrote this
Philippians 1:12But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things whichhappened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
What had happened to Paul:
2 Corinthians 11:23Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
24Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.
25Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
26In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
27In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
 Was Paul out of the will of God when these things happened to him? NO
God was very proud of a certain man in the Old Testament and He said this about him.
Job 1:8And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
Job was a good man, a very good man and we all know what happened to him.
Those who condemn others by insinuation that when things go wrong in a persons life it is because they have sinned or they must be out of the will of God, show a profound lack of understanding in the ways of God.
Jesus came that we might have life, but primarily the quality of life that Jesus was talking about was that which is found in our spirit.
2 Corinthians 4:16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
Seeing Jesus in everything
We recently saw young children die in their school when a crazed gunman shot them.  Many would say where was God?  Where were the angels who look after these children? What good can come out of this shocking incident?
Well firstly God is good, he does all things well, He loves us all unconditionally.
Secondly God is not the author or propagator of evil, He does not cause evil nor does He wish us evil, but when it happens He can turn it for Good, He can cause good to come out of it. We need to understand that God looks at the eternal perspective we as humans on this earth tend only to see the things from within the context of our present lives.
Pharaoh murdered thousands of children in Egypt, Herod thousands of years later would repeat this same atrocity, where was God? He was grieving in heaven; however those lives which were snuffed out are spoken about in Mat 2:18
Matthew 2:16Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.
17Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,
18In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.
This was a quote from Jeremiah Chap 31:15-17
Jeremiah 31:15Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
Jesus links this scripture with Herod and the slaughter of the children during the time of Jesus, it was history repeating itself again, but look what Jeremiah said.
Jeremiah 31:16Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
Thy work shall be rewarded; the work is the bearing of children that were killed,
Note the wording: Jeremiah 31:17  And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border
These children which were killed will have a special place and destiny in God’s purposes when Jesus returns again to this earth. The mothers of these children will have also a special reward.
Do all things work together for Good to them that love God?  YES
 This does not mean that we will be spared grief in this world, we live in a world of evil and gross sin but in the midst of it all we SEE JESUS who is causing all things to work together for Good turning evil into a positives ending with eternal rewards for those who suffer and are willing to trust God in all things, knowing that he doeth all things well.
Mongoloid children have a special place, purpose and reward when finally they leave this world. Do you believe that the Lord new that these children would be born that way? of course He new
2 Timothy 1:9Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
SEEING JESUS IN THE MIDST OF TROUBLE AND TRAGEDY BRINGS GREAT COMFORT AND GREAT REWARDS TO THOSE WHO ARE EXERCISED THERBY
God’s first priority with us is that we are prepared and qualify for the ongoing purposes that God has destined us for in the ages to come. He will do all that is possible in order for us to reach the highest qualifications for our ongoing eternal purpose and destiny in God. If this requires periods of hardship and difficulties this is not to high a price to pay in the light of eternity.
Romans 8:28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
