Part 14 Recovering Lost Truths The secrets of the Lords Table part 2 Jesus is the tree of life; He alone has the power to impart life to you. John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. Adam walked in the Garden of Eden with the Lord who was the life of Adam. This life was portrayed in the garden as the tree of Life. Daily the communion Adam had with the Lord was his life. When Adam sinned his communion with the Lord was severed, this had a catastrophic affect on Adam's physical life as well as his fellowship with the Lord. Adam?s source of eternal life was severed and he began to die, had he not sinned and continued in communion with the Lord (the tree of life) he would have lived for ever. Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. Through the cross the veil was rent, and access to the presence of God was gained for all who believed. The tree of life was again available to mankind. Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. The fruit of the tree of life is God's unconditional love; that is who He is, unconditional love. The fruit of the tree of life is for our healing now; we will not need healing in heaven! Communion then is coming to the tree of life, hidden from the spiritually blind, not understood by many Christians, but to those who can see this by revelation (divine insight) we are partaking of the very life of God which will heal restore and keep you in health, until the time of your sojourn on this earth is over. 1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam (Jesus) was made a quickening spirit. The resurrection power of Jesus is available to you as we drink of His blood (Life) Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Quicken 2227. zoopoieo, dzo-op-oy-eh'-o; from the same as G2226 and G4160; to (re-) vitalize (lit. or fig.):--make alive with the life of another, give life, quicken. 1 Corinthians 11:29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and If we partake without understanding or making a difference between ordinary bread and bread that has been blessed, and ordinary wine and wine that has been blessed, we are just having another bite to eat, and we are one more day closer to death. But if we partake knowingly - knowing what we are doing, we will no longer be sick and weakly, and die prematurely. Just as Adam, we must cone to the "Tree of Life" in order to continue to live; or we will progressively die. An End-Time Principle and Revelation This is an end-time principle and revelation; we are privileged to be living during the time of the redemption of the body. The last enemy to be overcome is DEATH 1 Corinthians 15:21 The Lord is beginning to reveal the connection between, the communion and the Tree of Life to those He is calling to become the company or group, who at the return of Jesus are those who are "alive and remain". 1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede (go ahead of) those who are asleep (who have died) The "remaining ones" are those who, at the time of the return of the Lord are living beyond their normal life span, because they have learned the secret of communion; their live have been extended. There has to be a company of people, who overcome the last enemy death. Psalms 91 speaks of this company, a people who are immune to what is coming upon the earth in these last days. Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; (Missiles) 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked 9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14 Because he hath set his love upon me, (partaken of the tree of life) therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him. We can come to the table of the Lord and take communion at any time; as oft as you will. You don't need a Priest or a minister to officiate, any believer can take communion every day if they so wish. It is a good practice to take communion daily, just as you need natural food daily to live, so you need spiritual food daily to live. Come before the Lord asking Him to bless the bread and wine imparting His life to it, then partake in faith of His life, He who is a life quickening Spirit.
