The Ark is returning Part 2 The Tabernacle of David

The Ark is returning Part 2

The Tabernacle of David
All of the temples or tabernacles in scripture served as a dwelling place of God and have prophetic significance for the church and the individual. However the Tabernacle of David has great prophetic significance for us today.
There is much truth and revelation to be found in studying the Tabernacle of Moses and in the Temple of Solomon, however God did not say that He would rebuild Solomon’s Temple or the Tabernacle of Moses. He did say however, that He would rebuild the Tabernacle of David.
Both the Old and New Testaments affirm this
Amos 9:11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
Acts 15:16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
The result of this Tabernacle being rebuilt is made clear in Amos 9:13-15
Amos 9:13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
Amos 9:12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, (the gentiles)which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.
This is not just a prophecy for the Jewish people but also for the Gentile church.
The building of David’s Tabernacle results in the largest spiritual harvest of all times.
Amos 9:13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
Amos 9:14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
The time frame for this event is given in verse 15
When Israel returns to their own Land
Amos 9:15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.
On the 14th of May 1948 Israel became a Sovereign Nation with its own land in Palestine. That year we saw the beginning of a great move of God. From 1948 on, a great healing evangelistic move of God swept the earth. Men such as T.L. Osborne, Tommy Hicks, Oral Roberts Billy Graham, and many other men and women were raised up in a might move of God. That move was just a prophetic token to what was coming in our day. We will  see many of these men who remain still to this day being taken home to glory. When we see this happening, we will know that the fullness prophesied concerning David’s Tabernacle is about to break forth in the earth.
The magnitude of the harvest is clearly seen in verse 13
Amos 9:13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
The time between seedtime and harvest is sped up to such a degree that as soon as the seed is planted it brings forth.
Now: There was a token fulfillment of this in the early church. . (See Acts 15:16)
There was also a token fulfillment of this in 1948.  But the complete and final fulfillment of this is to be in the days that lie just ahead of us.
Two major events are associated with the rebuilding of David’s Tabernacle.
1)      The literal return of Israel to their land
2)      The end-time harvest.
To understand the Tabernacle of David we have to understand the heart of David and the times in which he lived.
David had to take back Jerusalem and mount Zion before he could bring the Ark back. In order to do this he had to conquer the Jebusites. The Jebusites were the last enemy to be defeated in the conquest of the Promised Land.
Who was this last enemy and what did he represent?
Israel has to overcome seven nations in order to take the land fully, the last of these were the Jebusites. Josh 3:10
2 Samual 5:6 And the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land: which spake unto David, saying, Except thou take away the blind and the lame, thou shalt not come in hither: thinking, David cannot come in hither.
7 Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.
These six enemies of the Lord are listed in Proverbs chapter 6 and these are the characteristics of these nations
Proverbs 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
The last enemy to be overcome; He that soweth discord among his brethren
The Nature of the Jebusites was to sow discord: This enemy in the church has to be overcome. The nature and magnitude of the coming harvest requires unity among the brethren; we have to work together as one church each with there own giftings and abilities working as a whole, it has to be no longer “my church but the church”
I have been privileged to be taken to heaven a number of times and one of the things that I became aware of, there were no churches no denominations, no disunity in heaven. I do believe that God calls bodies of people together with similar destinies, in order to achieve a desired end in the will of God.  The church in China is the fasted growing church in the world today, but there is no visible church structures apart from the state controlled so called churches.
Now I am aware of the desire of the Lord when He told us to pray;
Mathew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
How do we translate that into the church establishment today? I don’t believe God is  against us having building to meet together in, the problem lies in our concept of the church and as pastors our fortress mentality, keeping the people in our church.
Think of it; people spend on average 4 hours out of a 40 hour week in church! Not much time is spent in church, the rest of the week they are out in the world, the work place. Its time to take the church out into the market place. Now I know we need Pastors and the rest of the five fold ministry and we need to gather together. But the unsaved do not come to church. The church when it is gathered together should be a time of prayer and equipping in order to prepare the people to take Christ into the world.
The Jebusites have to be conquered and we need to stop fighting each other.
The vision that Rick Joiner had regarding the church on the island needs to be read over and over again, once the war in the church amongst each other stops, the harvest will begin. When as pastors we come to the place where we are very happy to have people saved in our church and end up going to another church, we have come a long way in achieving a heart after God’s own heart and positioning ourselves to be a part of the next great move of God.
It is very interesting to note that nearly every major ministry in the world today has a Christian website defaming them. However remember you reap what you sow, if we want the manifest glory of David’s Tabernacle we will also have the Ananias’s and Sapphire’s falling dead.
The Ark cannot return to its place until the Jebusites are defeated in our own lives. Sowing discord among the brethren;
God Bless you
