Wisdom Part Eight The seventh pillar. Without Hypocrisy

Wisdom Part Eight
The seventh pillar.  Without Hypocrisy
James 3:17But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
This is the seventh and final pillar of wisdom, these pillars are inner qualities that qualify you to receive the wisdom of God, and they are the foundation that true wisdom is built upon.
The inner godly qualities that have been developed within you determine your place and standing in the kingdom of God. God does not so much look at what we do, rather He looks at who we are.
2 Peter 1:4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge (wisdom) of our Lord Jesus Christ.
If these qualities be in you: you will really come to know the Lord and more you will become like Him because these are His qualities they are who God is.
The Greek word for hypocrisy is 505. anupokritos, it literally means Play Acting;
Pretence; to be two faced.
The Pharisees had this down to a real art
Luke 12:1In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
Matthew 23:28Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
We live in a world of plastic fantastics, the use of plastic became known as second grade material, something that imitates the real. Today it is hard to distinguish plastic from metal; this is a picture or shadow of the society we live in. Television saturates us with so called celebrities who are paraded as wonderful people, while for the most their live inwardly are a mess, a sham, a picture of hypocrisy a game of play acting.
When we are acting we are wearing a mask
The Lord one day opened my eyes to this in a very graphic way. While walking down a street of the city I currently live, suddenly almost everyone I saw was wearing a mask which made them quite attractive, the mask was held up in front of their faces with a stick like handle on the bottom. Every now and then they let the mask slip and a much disfigured face became apparent.  I thought lord what is this and suddenly I understood; I remembered that in the 16th to 18th centuries the aristocracy would hold parties or balls and would come with a mask on a stick held over the faces.
Hypocrisy is wearing a mask pretending to be what we are not. The frightening thing about this experience was when I next  time I went to church to preach most of the congregation were wearing a similar masks, not literally but in the spirit realm that is what they looked like, but underneath ???.
What Christians don’t realize is that when they are pretending to be what they are not they are wearing a mask which is real in the spirit realm. Hypocrisy is play acting and you actually begin to take on that false personality.
Acting is dangerous
A number of years ago a lady gave her life to the Lord under my ministry, this lady was a full time actor. When she gave her life to the Lord a battle commenced, she kept switching to different personalities, personalities she had acted out in her career as an actress. This was not what is generally known today as multiple personality disorder. What I found was that these personalities were actual demonic entities. The bible tells us that hypocrisy is a sin, Luke 12:1. Hypocrisy is referred to as leaven which is sin. That sin opens up a channel into a person’s life through which demonic entities can travel through into that person.
This lady needed extensive deliverance before her real self began to emerge. Many so called famous actors today admit to, not knowing who they are. When you put on another personality or act out what you are not that hypocrisy opens you up to the spirit realm where you can conceive that which you pretend to be.
Matthew 23:28Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
We are told to PUT ON the Lord Jesus
Galatian 3:27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Colossians 3:10And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Colossians 3:14And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
We are told to put on the Lord Jesus to put on His virtues and character because His seed is within us and as we apply or put on by choice these Godly traits we release that seed within us and become like Him.
This is a spiritual law which works both with the light and darkness
What has this to do with wisdom?
When you wear a mask, that mask acts as a filter which means that anything that comes from God to you goes through the filter and comes out the other end distorted and tainted with that false you. The mask will corrupt the purity of that which God is communicating. We have to be free from hypocrisy, acting, pretending, the bible calls this process sanctification, separating ourselves from that which corrupts.
John 17:17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Sometimes true can cut deeply into our way we life, but obedience to truth has a sanctifying, a purifying effect.
2 Timothy 2:21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
The more the veils or masks are removed the clarity of our access to the realm of God becomes. These veils cloud and hinder our ability to see the Kingdom of God.  Mat 5:8  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
2 Corinthains 3:18But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
The Greek words open face in this verse is the word anakalupto:G343 which literal means unveiled face
The more masks or veils that are removed the greater the clarity we have in seeing into the kingdom of God beholding the face of Jesus becomes more and more clear which in turn enables the impartation to change us into His image to become more powerful
This concludes our studies on Wisdom I trust that they have been a help to you
